The summer barbeque was a great success with almost 90 attendees out to socialize and congratulate the members derby winners. Special thanks to George and Bruce for grilling, Tom for serving up some of the best corn-on-cob and a host of others that added a special touch …. iced tea, relish tray, ice cream.

The Fall Salmon derby is starting to hit its stride with the final position occupied by a 28lb plus fish. This is an indicator that a significant weight will be required to take home the money! Track derby results at http://scgameandfish.net/tournaments.html . Good luck to all anglers!

We hope to see a good turnout at our first general meeting after the summer break on Monday September 22^nd 7:30pm.
